Powhiri

Walt:Write a recount

On the 25th of March everyone strolled over to Pt England beach for the Powhiri. Everyone one left school around 8:30 so we could arrive at the Powhiri by 10:00.

First at Pt England we all had to look for our sitting area. We had to sit next to the Glen Brae and Panmure bridge schools. The first song that we sang was E oho for the people arriving on the waka.

Next there was an academic person from Hawaii who was telling us about the hook of manaiakalani. He was saying that the scientist from Hawaii said that the hook of the Manaiakalani came from the Maui.

Thereafter we sang our song He Honore. While everyone was singing He Honore the people on the beach was giving everyone a Hongi. After we finish singing we sang the last song Nga Waka.

Finally it was all over and the person on the ground said that two thousand kids had to go on the beach and hi- five every one. At the end of the hi-fiving all the school went back to school.

Measuring

In this game you have to measure the things that come up on the screen in inches. This game was easy for me because I know how to do my measurement. I think that this game should be suitable for year 5 students.

Converting fractions into decimals

In this game you have to know your fractions and decimals. This game was normal for me because I know some of my decimals and most of my fractions. I was playing on level to and my score was 132 and I got 3 wrong. I think that this game is suitable for 10 year olds.

Things I am good at

Walt:write about something you did well and what happened after that.

I am good at many things especially I am good at playing games. The games that I like is called black ops 2,Gta 5 and also watch dog.

But the game that I play most on xbox is called black ops 2.

First I like black ops 2 is because I get to custom guns and get to equip the guns. After I equip my guns I get to choose what I want for my win streak. My favourite win streak is the k9 unit because  when I get up to the win streak I get to release them and they will attack the opponent.

Next my favourite map on multiplayer is hijacked because it has a lot of camping spots my favourite camping-- spot is on the side of the boat. But sometimes people discover me on the side and they kill me. When I get killed I get respawned back to a spot on the map. The thing that I hate about black ops 2 is  that people kill me when I spawn.

Then after I play on multiplayer I go onto zombies and the highest level I have been up to is 99 it was a complicated level to go to. The map that I play on zombies is nuketown. The level that I hate on zombies is tranzit because that is to hard for me.

I think that this game is fun to play but it is a violence game to play.

New Zealand beats Australia

Kane williamson, you have done well for New zealand and I think that you are sensational. I think that you are one of the best in the Black Caps and I hope that your team the Black Caps do well in the World Cup.
