Squares

What makes a square a square?

1.The opposite sides are always parallel.

2.A square has 4 equal sides.

3.The diagonals bisect each other at 90 degree angle.

4.It has 4 equal 90 degree angles.

I really liked fact 3 and 4 because I dont think that most grown ups would know the answer, or be able to recall that fact. Great that you are sharing your learning with your audience (such as our class of students in Taranaki).
